A small studio with big intentions.
We're Terracode, an independent software studio based in Cardiff. We design, build, and launch our own products, end to end. No middlemen, no handovers, no compromise. Just the two of us, working on software we believe in.
We started Terracode in 2020 because we kept noticing the same thing: gaps where good software should exist but didn't. So instead of waiting for someone else to fill them, we started filling them ourselves. One of us designs and brings it to life. The other builds and makes it bulletproof. Together we take an idea all the way from first sketch to finished product, and we stay with it long after launch, because we genuinely care how it turns out.
Depth over speed
We'd rather take the time to get it right than rush something half-baked into the world.
Clarity in complexity
If we can't explain how it works, we've built it wrong. Simple to use, no matter how complex underneath.
Long-term thinking
We optimise for years of reliability, not just the launch day demo. The people using our products deserve something that still works brilliantly in three years. So we resist shortcuts, think ahead, and make sure what we build today doesn't become someone else's headache tomorrow.
Making hard things feel easy
The best software is the kind people don't have to think about. We take on the complexity so the person using it doesn't have to, that's where most of our time goes, and we think it's worth every second.
Technology with a human touch
Great software should feel warm, not clinical. We design and build with real people in mind, their habits, frustrations, and the moments where technology can genuinely get out of the way and just help.
